Hello! I'm Sara.
After establishing a Marketing and Communications position at the Pittsburgh-based nonprofit, GTECH Strategies, I was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug and started my own business.
Over the years, I helped organize one of Pittsburgh’s largest beer festivals, assisted in the first-ever strategic plan for a local creative reuse center, rebranded an artisanal cheese shop, relaunched a nonprofit’s website, helped manage my local community garden, and appeared on a WQED documentary.
As a native Pittsburgher, I want to see Pittsburgh as a place for all. I care deeply about inclusive community development, racial and social justice, gender equity, and food issues.
This past year, I completed the Coro Women in Leadership program and co-founded a group called She Runs SWPA, a project of the Women and Girls Foundations, that aims to get more women in office in the region.
When I'm not helping organizations tell their stories, you'll find me fixing up my newly purchased home in Upper Lawrenceville and attempting to bake the perfect loaf of sourdough bread.
I'd love to grab a coffee (I have a few favorites in mind) and talk about how I can help.
